In addition to our update early in 2025 we have completed the year with some amazing achievements and we have completed some fantastic projects, here are some highlights:
East Midlands Airport Extension – Installing Sika Sarnafil AR-15 built up roofing system and Trimo QBISS One wall system
North Lindsey College, Scunthorpe – Installing Equitone Natura Panels to achieve a smart and modern appearance
King Edward Court, Nottingham – Installing Anvil Cladding Panels in Olive Grey and Chocolate Brown, Langley hot melt system and Euroclad Vieo wall system
Our charity Golf Day held in September was a huge success and something we are very proud of. We raised just under £11K for our local chosen charity Treetops Hospice
We have had several ‘big’ birthdays this year. Happy 30th to our buyer Amy, Happy 21st to our trainee QS Harry and Happy 50th to our Project Manager Steve
Our Jonny Lowe completed the London Marathon with an impressive time of 2:58:26 which also placed him 9th placed male V60 out of 1318!
Ilkeston Town Under 16’s became the Holland Cup Champions. We are very proud sponsors of the team
In June we played in our charity football match against NRA Roofing held at Ilkeston Town Football Club. Whilst we didn’t take the trophy this time we are proud to have raised over £4000. It was a fantastic day and we are looking forward to arranging our next match in 2026
Our yard operative Dan is part of a Bowls England Nation Fours team. Dan’s team went on to win and will be representing England in the British Isles comp being held in Scotland June 2026
We made our usual donation of charity boxes to the South Broxtowe Family Hub for Christmas
Training
At the end of April we congratulated 2 of our team for completing the Mental Health First Aiders course, this is alongside our Mental Health Awareness Training and regular Toolbox Talks given on site
We have also supported 3 of our team to go ahead and complete their Level 6 NVQ’s this year, 2 achieving Construction Site Management (Construction):Building and Civil Engineering. 1 achieving Construction Contracting Operations Management (Construction)
We have hosted a work experience student from a local Ilkeston School, Dillon spent time with our design department using CAD and helping the commercial team analyzing cost management on our projects and using Bluebeam software
Our Contracts Manager Charley Hartshorn recently became a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building, a testament to his hard work completing his NVQ Level 7 and completing the process to become Charley Hartshorn MCIOB
